Today, King Fish announced that Laura McFadden is joining King Fish in the position of Art Director.
One of New England’s leading designers, McFadden was the principal of Laura McFadden Design, Inc. and was formerly the main creative force behind Inc. magazine, where she oversaw all design work for the production of 18 issues of the publication each year.
At King Fish, Laura will be the lead creative voice within the award-winning design studio. She provides overall creative vision and direction across all media platforms and program elements.

Over the past 10 years, McFadden contributed her design expertise to several prominent Boston-area magazines, including Boston, CFO, Body & Soul and Horticulture. She has authored and co-authored four books on design for Rockport Publishers and developed award-winning collateral material for Reebok Human Rights, Silent Spring Institute, Harvard Medical and Harvard Aids Institute. McFadden was Art Director for five of her 15 years with Inc., and throughout her career, she has won recognition throughout the publishing and design industries. Her many design awards include SPD, Ozzie, CASE and ASBPE.
