Working Mothers Symposium video |
Challenge King Fish identified a market segment whose information requirements were currently underserved. Working mothers are a vital part of the workforce, yet they continually find themselves in a position of not having any time to network, get help with home and work concerns, or find time for themselves. Solution King Fish gathered 200 working mothers for a full-day collaborative event with industry pundits and media luminaries. We also created a partnership with Robin Pedrelli to develop a curriculum of specialized content. King Fish handled all event production and conference management. Content We gathered 20 experts and life coaches, invited women who come from the same background as the average working mother, and provided them with the breakout sessions that taught them to better communicate with their bosses and families; set realistic goals and expectations; build strategic networks; get organized; plan for the long range; and raise happy, fulfilled families. Success Ninety-five percent of our attendees wanted this event brought to their companies so that everyone could take part. Our first Working Mothers’ Symposium was such a success that we decided to listen to our attendees and bring it to companies internally. We are also looking into producing this event on a national level. |
