Digital/Interactive Media Buyer

Primary Media Planning Responsibilities:
  • Oversee media planning and execution process to research and recommend lead generating media placement for audience recruitment purposes. Primary platforms are webcasts, white papers, virtual events, podcasts and microsites/websites.
  • Facilitate communication between media partners and platform providers within the media promotions set-up process. Candidate will develop understanding of backend registration integration processes, tracking, reporting.
  • Administrative responsibilities related to media planning. Includes managing media budgets, processing of project work orders, media insertion orders, vendor invoices and client invoices.
  • Researching and building our media planning partners network (3rd party publishers, web sites, etc.) to expand our reach across all B2B and B2C verticals.

Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare timelines, schedule and conduct all necessary client calls, and manage all day-to-day communication with client, internal resources and vendors as it relates to media-driven lead generation programs
  • Work with sales representatives, editors/content providers, designers, audience development partners, speakers, technology/platform provider, producers, videographers and other internal resources to ensure timely and successful production lead generation campaigns based on project/program knowledge
  • Administrative duties include reporting, coordination with creative services teams for asset development and placement

  • Salary plus full benefits. Salary based on applicant's experience: $55,000.

Skills:
  • 3+ years interactive media planning and buying experience
  • Knowledge of both online and offline lead generation programs and execution
  • Strong interactive project management background
  • Ability to multitask, strong attention to detail and customer service skills
  • Exceptional organizational/project management skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and keep cool under pressure
  • Excellent business communication skills including copywriting and proofreading
  • Self starter with ability to function with minimal guidance from a manager
  • Mandatory computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. HTML and Workamajig a plus
  • Event and/or webcast management experience preferred but not required
  • Audio and video production and editing experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and program execution preferred but not required

Interactive Designer

Full-time, Salem, MA


The primary responsibility for this position is to work in coordination with our design studio team, account managers and clients to develop and execute award-winning design for our broad array of integrated marketing solutions.

From deep and complex web site design work to micro site and email campaigns, this position requires a dynamic hands-on creative talent with a passion for design that engages and informs through thoughtful and intuitive execution.

Working with project teams to understanding project parameters, client goals and requirements, and technical constraints specific to each project and scope, this position takes the lead on interactive design solutions and execution. This position will also contribute to branding, direct mail and collateral work as necessary.

The position requires at least five years experience in a fast-paced creative environment. Candidates must be technically savvy, working with a variety of software programs and platforms. Must be proactive in learning new industry trends and how they might apply to new projects. Candidates must have a BA or BFA degree in Digital Media or relevant combination of education and experience. Applicants should have a strong web portfolio, focused on design and user experience of the highest quality.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years designing rich interactive experiences for the web
  • Sound understanding user interface and information architecture
  • Ability to develop thoughtful site maps and wireframes to create highly intuitive and functional sites.
  • Have a strong desire to learn new techniques and apply new perspective to each project.
  • High proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash is a plus.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Have a strong eye for typography, layout and consistent application of branding across multiple platforms.
  • Functional knowledge HTML and CSS, comfortable coding by hand vs. WYSIWYG.

Overview of Position
Manage key account relationships and oversee marketing programs across a variety of platforms including interactive, direct mail, social media and events.

Develop a clear understanding of project goals, milestones and metrics. Partner with Account Mangers and Directors to execute elements of large marketing programs across a variety of media (interactive, print, social, events) Become a trusted strategic and tactical resource for clients, bringing the best of King Fish Media’s approach to solving challenges with targeted marketing solutions across multiple media platforms.

Lead project teams of editors, copywriters, developers, producers, designers to deliver projects on time, on budget and meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Take complete ownership of project execution and performance
  • Manage communication flow between client and project teams
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules and track costs & billing
  • Ensure all program elements are in alignment with strategy to deliver required results
  • Partner with our award winning studio to produce highly effective creative that drives results

Skills:
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing practices and techniques
  • Ability to apply best practices in project management across various program platforms

Requirements:
  • Min. 3-5 years experience managing projects in a dynamic marketing/advertising or media firm
