King Fish Media’s First Working Mothers Symposium Receives Accolades from
Attendees and Participants

Additional Symposia Planned Nationwide

SALEM, MA – December 4, 2006 – King Fish Media™, leaders in Private Media™ solutions, today announced the successful launch of its first Working Mothers Symposium. The one-day event, which took place this Fall at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers was attended by over 170 working mothers and included 25 panelists and moderators from leading Boston organizations.

“I was proud to be a part of an event that provided working mothers with the unique opportunity to network with others who share their challenges and hopes for the future,” said keynote speaker and WLVI anchor Karen Marinella. “The symposium was inspiring, educational and fun.”

“From beginning to end, the symposium was well managed and professional,” said panelist Kim Driscoll, mayor of Salem, Massachusetts. “I enjoyed my participation and witnessed many positive and informative exchanges between participants.”

The symposium, which included workshops, panels and keynote presentations, addressed topics specific to working mothers. A few areas of discussion included stress and time management; challenges associated with the emotional demands of both job and home life; the importance of developing a work/life plan, and building support networks to drive success.

“We are overwhelmed by the positive feedback we have received by attendees and are excited to support the working mother community through additional symposiums,” said King Fish Media’s president Cam Brown. “We will continue to create high-touch corporate events that deliver relevant, experiential content to varied communities.”

Event sponsors and partners included Healthworks, Boston’s premier group of women-only fitness centers; free onsite childcare was provided by Parents in a Pinch, a leading childcare solution provider; the Downtown Women’s Club, a leading social and career website for business women, and the Commonwealth Institute, an organization dedicated to helping entrepreneurial women.

“We were thrilled to partner with King Fish on the first annual Working Mothers Symposium,” said Stephanie Nelson, Director of Corporate Sales at Healthworks.   “In today’s world, it’s critical that we support mothers juggling two full time responsibilities – raising a family AND a career -- and the elusive struggle to find work/life balance.”

“With a phenomenal track of programming and an impressive team of experts and speakers, we were extremely pleased with our sponsorship,” added Healthworks Julia Bowker, Community Outreach Coordinator. “Our team heard such positive feedback from those mothers in attendance and we look forward to future collaborations.”
