King Fish Media Names Gordon Plutsky, Director of Marketing and ResearchLeading Custom Media Company Expands Marketing and Research Offerings to Private Media Clients
Salem, MA, February 28, 2007 - King Fish Media™, the leading Private Media™ marketing solutions company, has named Gordon Plutsky to the newly created position of Director of Marketing and Research. In this position, reporting directly to King Fish President Cameron Brown, Plutsky will be responsible for building and communicating the King Fish brand, and will be launching King Fish Research in the coming months. King Fish Research will provide custom research to its Private MediaT clients as an integrated component to demonstrate return on investment for its customer retention and loyalty media programs.
In addition, Plutsky will work closely with King Fish Media's web cast and face-to-face event customers to drive the branding and marketing of their interactive and in person events.
Plutsky is latest in a series of hires for King Fish Media which has been experiencing dramatic growth over the past several years. King Fish has experienced a 200 percent revenue increase since 2003. King Fish recently won the Custom Publishing Council Pearl Award for Best Marketing and Multimedia campaign for its ducklings campaign for Albertson, Inc, and was named one of the best places to work by the Boston Business Journal in 2006.

Plutsky comes to King Fish Media from CMP Technology where he was the Group Marketing Director of the Channel Group. His responsibilities included the positioning and marketing communications for the group's brands and creation of promotional programs to drive revenue. He was also responsible for CRN and VARBusiness' branded face-to-face events, nearly doubling their revenue and profitability over four years. Earlier, Plutsky was Executive Director of Marketing and Research for Ziff Davis Media and Marketing and Research Director of PC Magazine. He has also held research positions at PC Week, Cahners Publishing and IDG. Plutsky earned his MBA at Northeastern University and his bachelor's degree at the State University of New York at Albany. He also completed Stanford University's Executive Program in Marketing.
