Michele Campbell
Senior Account Manager
She quotes Elf, runs marathons, volunteers, and, well, packs so much into a single day it leaves us breathless and our clients very, very happy. Maybe she's onto something with all that exercising...

So what exactly does a Senior Account Manager do?
I strive to make every client’s experience a great one by understanding their brand and goals for each project and by working with creative teams, project managers, and client-side staff to execute a deliverable that makes us all happy. To quote Will Ferrell in Elf, “I just like to smile; smiling’s my favorite.”
Now how would you explain that to your five-year-old niece?
You know how we like to play pinball? Well, at work, I am like the flippers during the multi-ball, and I like to rack up the points.
Walk us through a typical day.
To me, there's nothing worse than being bored, so a typical day is jam-packed: a 5:30 a.m. run, medicating the fur-baby (meow), coffee, walking to work (best commute ever), smiling, emails, phone calls, project check-ups, brainstorming, more email, maybe more coffee, definitely more smiling, and client visits or conference calls. After work, I play tennis or go to the gym, work on volunteer activities, or attend board meetings. Somewhere along the way, I manage to eat more than once.
You felt you deserved a big fat raise the day you...
Finished the Chicago Marathon. Instead, I had a big fat plate of spring rolls at PF Chang’s. Oh, did you mean something work-related? I’ll get back to you on that.
What’s your approach to client relationships?
I like to get to know people on a personal level. The more you talk with clients, the more you realize what you have in common. Flexibility, humor, and trust—it’s how I roll.
What would my colleagues say?
Michele with one “L” is a happy camper.
If someone met you, they’d probably never guess...
I have a Sid Vicious action figure.
Would you shave your head for $1,000?
Been there, done that—for free. In high school, I had a series of unique hairstyles of questionable taste—my favorite might be my version of the Cyndi Lauper. No need to revisit those days, even for a cool grand.
The kind of client you love working with is...
...a sports nut like me. No, seriously, I enjoy the fact that clients are different, so I love getting to know them and working with all.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Creative, sporty, friendly.
The thing you wish people understood about you is...
That loving baroque, classical, rock, and punk music equally makes perfect sense. Come on; Vivaldi was totally the Eddie Van Halen of his day.
